We will not cancel the insurance policy due to nonpayment, attempt to collect premiums or charge fees. The 90-day grace period may start on either April 1 or May 1, 2020, at your option.  Notify your agent/broker of your selected date.

Paying for renewal premiums: if you renew your policy with us during the grace period and are experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19, the renewal premium or its down payment is eligible for flexible installment payments for up to 12 months in up to 12 equal installments without interest or fees. At the time of binding your renewal notify your agent/broker about the hardship and which installment plan you want.

Oklahoma Policyholder Notice

  • Grace periods to not make payments: We have extended a grace period for nonpayment of premium by 45 days until Oklahoma’s state of emergency ends. The grace period must start on or before the date when Bulletin 2020-01 (AMENDED) ends. A grace period is not intended to change the terms of the policy or be a forgiveness of the premium but merely is a deferral of the payment due date. It grants an extended grace period for the payment of premium due without penalty or interest. During the grace period we will pay covered claims and will not cancel the insurance policy due to nonpayment, attempt to collect premiums or charge fees. This provision is also applicable to premium financing arrangements, so please contact your premium finance company for information.
  • We have suspended all claims reporting deadlines until 90 days after Oklahoma’s state of emergency ends and extended all policyholder rights or benefits related to deadlines until 90 days after the state of emergency ends.
  • Policy wording is unchanged by COVID-19. Coverage provided by your policy before the outbreak of the coronavirus will be available to you until the expiration or termination of the policy, subject to any mutually agreed midterm change that is customary to insurance. This applies to business interruption insurance, too, if part of your policy before the outbreak. Please contact your broker/agent if you have questions about your coverage.
